The Irish Gaelic Dagger with its characteristic Irish ring-pommel has a thick-edged blade forged from EN45 high carbon steel. The peened hilt is steel with a contoured wooden grip which is bound in leather. The matching wooden scabbard is wrapped in stitched and fitted leather.
