The 2nd Century Long Spatha has a blade crafted from high carbon steel and it has a hilt of carved wood. A brass pommel nut secures the sword tang to the hilt. It is paired with a quality wood-core scabbard which is overlaid in stitched leather and finished with brass fittings.
The sword is based on original finds that are kept within the Aalen Museum.
